25 parks in 25 weeks connecting Yarrabilba for coffee
14 August 2026
A morning coffee in the park is a ritual for many on the weekend, but when the Logan suburb of Yarrabilba has 25 parks, that cuppa can connect the community.
A new Coffee in the Park initiative to hand out free coffees every Saturday at 25 Yarrabilba parks across 25 weeks is planning to help people not only kickstart the day, but entice them to discover other green spaces and playgrounds nearby.
The coffee campaign, devised by Yarrabilba developer Stockland, invites locals and visitors to enjoy a free barista-made coffee each weekend while exploring the extensive network of Yarrabilba parks.
The community initiative began on 1 August at Billuberra Park and will travel to a local park every Saturday morning from 8:30 am to 10:30 am until finishing up on Saturday 2 January.
The campaign’s coffee cart and barista will next greet people at Buxton Park on Saturday 15 August.

Rachel Dunstan, Senior Development Manager, Yarrabilba, Stockland, says the initiative is designed to encourage residents to experience the variety of outdoor spaces available right across the community.
‘The 25 Parks in 25 Weeks initiative is a wonderful opportunity for residents to explore the diverse parks and open spaces that make Yarrabilba such a vibrant and connected community,’ Rachel says.
‘We encourage locals to grab a coffee, visit a new park each week and enjoy the many opportunities these spaces provide for recreation, relaxation and connection.’
She said the parks are a cornerstone of community life in Yarrabilba – a master-planned community in Division 4 of the City of Logan.
‘Our parks are at the heart of community life in Yarrabilba, providing places for families, friends and neighbours to come together.
‘Through this initiative, we’re celebrating the important role these spaces play in supporting active lifestyles, fostering social connections and enhancing the liveability of our community.’

As the Coffee in the Park series continues, residents are encouraged to walk, jog, ride, scoot, skate or drive to grab a complimentary coffee and discover a new favourite outdoor destination.
