Action-packed Easter school holiday activities in Logan

Touch football sessions and workshops on bionic hands, phone photography and e-waste deconstruction will feature in Logan City Council’s upcoming school holiday program in April.
There is also a New Zealand Warriors sports day to get the kids active, the popular ImagiNation Children's Festival on 18 April for children to explore different worlds of play and learning, activities at local shopping centres, and kids performances on offer.
The popular KRANK School Holiday program will run in April alongside activities at Logan Libraries and The Living Museum of Logan. 'There is no reason anyone should miss out on fun these holidays with the wide range of free and low-cost activities Logan has available,' Logan Mayor Jon Raven says. 'Our city is a great place for families and our school holiday programs are all about giving kids the chance to try something new, stay busy and enjoy their time off.'
KRANK
Open to Logan kids and teens aged 5 to 17, the KRANK program features outdoor adventures, creative arts and high-energy sports. Bookings open at 9:00am on Monday, 23 March and interested participants are advised to book early. A full list of activities and booking details can be viewed online at KRANK.
Logan Libraries
To celebrate Queensland Youth Week and the April school holidays, Logan Libraries will host a range of free events.
Local youths can create a simple budget for everyday life with finance expert Jackie Matjasec or attend a bionic hand workshop with DigiTech Tinker Lab, a writing masterclass with author Cody Hargreaves and a beeswax candles and lip balm workshop with Urban Bee Co. Gimuy Walubara Yidinji author, storyteller and cultural educator Trevor Fourmile will run creative workshops about turtles and the Great Barrier Reef for children aged from 7 to 11 years old.
Robotics and creative workshops will also be held and a range of other activities for the school holidays. Book these free activities at: Logan Libraries.
ImagiNation Children's Festival
ImagiNation Children’s Festival is a free, family event offering a full day of activities, workshops, entertainment and competitions designed for children aged from 0 to 12 years old. Young adventurers can journey through the 6 magical ‘worlds’ – Nature, Creative, Digital, Cultural, Entertainment and Action, each offering its own unique theme and experiences.

The Living Museum of Logan
The Living Museum of Logan will host creative workshops from Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) during the April holidays.
Kids can explore their emotions through different activities such as drawing, dancing and digital media at the free Express Yourself workshops by Thai-born, Melbourne-based ceramic artist Vipoo Srivilasa.
Families can drop into the museum in the Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct between 10:00am and 4:00pm from Tuesday to Saturday during the school holidays to enjoy this activity.

The Great Beach Adventure
This performance at Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct is a joyful, imagination-powered escapade for children aged 3 to 10 and their grown-ups.
Watch and interact as 2 best friends decide it’s beach day, and their living room transforms into a world of waves, pirates, sea creatures, and sun-soaked silliness. This interactive, high-energy performance celebrates how kids play, problem-solve, and imagine their way through big adventures using everyday things.
The show is on 9 April, from 10:00 am. Tickets are $15.
Warriors Inspire Logan School Holiday Sports Program
Camp Bigfoot at Logan Hyperdome
Whether your little explorers love climbing, crafting, problem-solving or high-energy challenges, they can find an adventure at Camp Bigfoot at the Hyperdome these school holidays.
From 8 to 18 April, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm daily, Camp Bigfoot transforms the Hyperdome's Centre Court (near TK Maxx) into an energetic, camp-inspired adventure zone packed with free interactive fun for kids, including an 8-metre rock climbing wall, Big Foot Knockdown, a Morse Code Quest and a Badge Making Workshop.
