Park after Dark: Spotlighting

Explore Logan's natural environment in a whole new light while learning about the wildlife and habitats recovering from the major storm events of 2023/24.

Led by DDW Fauna, you'll wander along bushland trails and uncover the fascinating world of nocturnal wildlife. Along the way, you'll pick up tips and tricks for spotting native animals, learn about local conservation efforts, and hear how habitat recovery works are helping support species such as koalas, greater gliders and grey-headed flying-foxes.

This event is perfect for nature lovers, wildlife enthusiasts and curious explorers looking to sharpen their senses and connect with nature. Important information:

This event is designed for adults and families.
Recommended for ages 12 years and older with parent/guardian supervision.
This is an outdoor walk in a bushland environment with uneven surfaces and unsealed tracks. Participants must be physically able to be stand and walk through a park for up to 2 hours - moderate fitness required.
Please wear fully enclosed shoes. Bring along torch, drinking water, insect repellent, and a camera or mobile phone for pictures.
